Speakers David Mulville

In 1999 Mr. Mulville was one of the founding executives of Riverdeep Interactive Learning charged with commercializing the entity. During this period he oversaw the company’s initial public offering on the NASDAQ and Irish stock markets as well as an aggressive programme of acquisitions that saw Riverdeep acquire and integrate seven different companies over a 4 year period, with an acquisition value of over $800m. He has had significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and corporate fund-raising.

Prior to his career with Riverdeep, Mr. Mulville was the head of Corporate Finance for SOLIDERE sal, the Lebanese company established to rebuild Beirut Central District in the aftermath of the seventeen year civil war in Lebanon. During his six-year tenure at SOLIDERE, he architected and led the share issuance program of the company including the listing of a Global Depositary Receipt program on the London Stock Exchange in 1996, the very first Middle Eastern GDR program to list on an international stock exchange. From 1989-1994 he held a senior position on the Irish Stock Exchange. He is also a graduate of the London Stock Exchange graduate scheme and holds a degree in law from University College, Dublin.
