The Arab World - A World of Opportunity

Export opportunities to the Arab States have never looked so good, but knowledge and insights are critical

Irish exports to the Arab World reached record levels in 2022, increasing by more than 22% (v 2021).  From dairy and eggs, to pharma and electronics, the rising populations in the Arab World, together with a huge reliance on imports, point to the fact that there are significant opportunities for Irish exporters looking to grow their business.

Last year Ireland exported over €3 billion in goods to the Arab states with notable increases in countries including Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Yemen. With many Irish businesses already taking advantage of the opportunities presented by the Arab States, how can entrepreneurial Irish businesses get started, or scale up? Find out on September 13th and gain unparalleled insight, knowledge and advice from a range of speakers from Ireland and the Arab World.

A recent report by Irish economist Jim Power on behalf of the Irish Arab Chamber of Commerce highlighted the potential of the Arab States, contending that if Irish firms want to grow and achieve scale, it will have to be on the back of expanding into various export markets.  The 2023 Arab-Irish Business Forum will explore how.

Now in its fourth year, speakers at this year's Arab-Irish Business Forum will provide expert analysis, insight and advice on looking beyond the UK and the EU for extensive business opportunities.

Whether you are already doing business there or are considering opportunities, the 2023 Arab-Irish Business Forum is a must-attend event.
