George Mullan is founder and owner of SIS Pitches Group, a Global manufacturing and sports construction company with offices in Europe, Asia, North America and Africa.

George founded SIS Pitches in 2001, and the company has completed projects at every major football event around the World and has been the principal supplier to football World Cups. SIS has supplied and constructed surfaces on every continent and across many sports. In 2023 SIS supplied surfaces for the Woman’s Football World Cup and Rugby World Cup Final & will supply surfaces for the World Cup 2026 in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

SIS Group has built relationships with world renowned brands such as Real Madrid FC, Manchester City, Inter Milan, Barcelona FC, Green Bay Packers, Chelsea FC, Besiktas JK, Ajax, Estadio Monumental, Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium, Aviva Stadium, and the Kingdom Arena.

SIS Pitches established offices in UAE in 2009, a turf farm in 2010, the company has carried projects across the Middle East. A second office was opened in Saudi Arabia in 2019, followed by a turf farm. The group employs over 300 staff in the Middle East and recently signed contracts for two World Cup stadiums in Saudi Arabia.

In a previous life George was a turnaround specialist completing restructurings for a major US multinational in Europe. Asia and South America.

George sits on several boards and is active in promoting sports participation.

George completed his degree at Trinity College Dublin in 1985 and went on to complete an MBA at Bradford Business School in 1988
